The foundations of the security guard selection methodology are laid down in the state law on private security services. In accordance with the requirements specified in Article 9 of this law, a security guard must be a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who has completed active military service as prescribed by law (there are exceptions), who has completed a course of special security guard training, who is physically and psychologically healthy, who has no criminal record, and who has reached the age of 20. In addition to the above, Lion Security LLC has its own internal selection criteria, which gives preference to candidates with a height of at least 175 cm, relative weight, and athletic performance. Candidates must have at least a secondary school certificate.
